
Sputnik I- The worlds first space satellite.
On October 4, 1957 the USSR launched Sputnik 1, the world,s first space satellite. It was about 58 cm in diameter and weighed about 84 kg. It stayed in the orbit until early 1958, when it burned up in the Earth’s atmosphere.
Laika, a female dog was the first living creature to go into the space.

Triton
The coldest place in our solar system is not Pluto its Triton one of the Neptune’s moon.
